In 2013, career restaurateur Branden McRill brought in financial expert Mike Marian as CFO to help drive profitability at his restaurant, Rebelle. Together, they built financial and operating models to tackle challenges familiar to any operator - small margins, disconnected data, and limited time to review reports. Those early spreadsheets, created to increase financial visibility and improve day-to-day operations, became the blueprint for 5-Out.

Today 5-Out leverages machine learning and AI to provide operators with the tools they need to empower staff, reduce waste, and increase profitability. Our team of current and former restaurant professionals is dedicated to empowering operators to achieve financial goals and deliver exceptional dining experiences.
